There are so many fashion-lifestyle bloggers on Instagram that sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming (especially during September and February when fashion month is in full swing, and all of them seem to be posting eight different photos, three videos, and about 1300 Instagram stories per day). Still, when you find the right people, you’ll think, “I want to raid their wardrobe and take them out for avocado toast,” and you’ll know what it is: love.
These three women, in my opinion, are some of the most creative, intelligent, and beautiful creators that I’ve found on Instagram. Here are a few reasons why I love them, and I think you should too.
Victoria Magrath is probably my all-time favorite fashion blogger for a lot of reasons, but mainly because she isn’t afraid to change her style or play with color and silhouette. The ultimate girl boss in her many many colorful suits, Victoria knows how to create unique and beautiful content that never fails to put a smile on my face or make me gasp in awe. Her wardrobe consists of eye-catching wearable pieces that make me drool with envy.
Victoria is someone I trust to give me the facts. How’s the material? How does it fit — size up or down? And though she may not state her own opinion, at the end of a fashion haul, I’m always able to tell if I think the piece is worth my time and money.
I’d also like to note that her husband, Alex, is not only her biggest supporter but a crucial part of the brand InTheFrow. He is behind almost all of her photography content for her blog and Instagram, while also helping to edit videos and film vlogs.
Lydia Millen-Gorden is another major love of mine. Her style, though a bit more subdued in colors (she likes to stick to her whites, blacks, beiges, and light pinks), plays with silhouettes and lengths. Lydia’s content is wholesome and heartwarming. Her giggle makes me giggle, and I appreciate it.
If Victoria’s wardrobe is a statement but wearable, Lydia’s is basics with a twist. After seeing her wearing the bodysuit of the season in one of her Instagram stories, my ass immediately went onto Zara’s app and bought it in both black and white. That’s how much I trust her.
Leonie is honestly a ray of sunshine and energy. She’s always on the move and always has something new to share. Though she doesn’t regularly post on her YouTube like the other two, she’s a constant presence on Instagram with her #Dailyleonie Instagram stories, which allows her to share OOTD, BTS, and of course, her favorite vegan restaurants she goes to.
Her wardrobe is colorful, extravagant, and my everything. Though I don’t know if I could get away with some of the outfits she effortlessly pulls off, even at an all-girls college with an abundance of fashion majors. I have yet to buy anything that Leonie has talked about loving. Still, for the rest of my life, I’ll be striving to have a wardrobe (and Instagram page) as cool as her.
